Published bi-weekly, "Inside Mount Sinai" features stories on Mount Sinai research, awards and recognitions, new faculty, centers, and institutes, and new programs and events.
In this issue:
- Mount Sinai has created the Center for Health Equity and Community Engaged Research, a multidisciplinary hub for ground-breaking research that will seek to eliminate health disparities among the underserved.
- Researchers from Mount Sinai have identified the pattern of cell signaling induced by antipsychotic drugs in a complex of two brain receptors linked to schizophrenia.
- The Mount Sinai Hospital recently launched a weekly TV series on Telemundo tailored to the health and wellness issues of the Latino community.
